Fellows, well we certainly put in a terrific performance against the Kiwis at Ambassador shield and I wanted to thank all of you for participating and sharing playing time and putting on a great show. We all appreciated everyone’s efforts and the teamwork. Thanks again.
We flock once again at Trinity University,Washington DC,to take the field v New Zealand Olboys. We can expect this match to be physical and exciting and very competitive.
Good morning Gents, As some of you know I have taken the hand off from Cary Kennedy to get us ready to play the match, it will be a very competitive 35 plus match at a terrific venue, as many of you know from last year. Our opponent is an all KIWI side that has been recruited from a nationwide audience of expats. They really want to win this one since our last match in Alexandria was a decisive victory for the Cards, so be ready for some terrific Rugby and a great event.
VERY IMPORTANT: If you are on this email I am counting on you to show up and play so if that is not the case please email me and let me know by this Thursday that you are out so I can recruit someone to take your place. Some of you have not yet registered to please do so at www.cardinalsrugby.com. We always provide a donation a this event.
Finally before logistics, the Embassy has asked us to make this an annual event (Cardinals against KIWIs) and they are going to have an engraved trophy at the Embassy with the winner each year, we will always be the opponent and we have committed to do so each year from this point forward.
Here are the logistics:
Kick off will be at 11:30 so everyone please be there kitted up and ready at 10:30, the match is at Trinity University which is at 125 Michigan Avenue, NE, Washington DC 20002. You can look it up on Mapquest if you don't know how to get there. I am looking forward to seeing you all there below is my cell phone number if you need to reach me. If this information should change for any reason I will send an email. Thanks to all.

To get the redball you must tender your $25 at our secure online site http://cardinalsrugby.com click on "registration." Please confirm your status with Cary,757 532 1356, no later than Nov 1st. The New Zealand Embassy insists that our guestlist is submitted prior to Nov 15th. You must have the redball by your name to be on the guestlist. If you are not on the guestlist the NZ Embassy guards will not admit you to the reception amd they will ruck you out the door. So take care of this pesky task ASAP. With much regret, our guestlist is limited to 30 which means we have virtually no space for family and friends. Very Sorry!
The roster will remain open to invites until we have enough players confirmed. Tardy confirmation could result in bloated roster and will affect your playtime. Get that redball by your name.
